Punish cruel owner that beat small dog with a shoe!

The upsetting abuse of a defenseless pet dog was put up online and is currently being shared on social media.

The footage shows how a heartless owner pounds his small dog several times. It all started after the poodle chewed on his owner’s shoe. Extremely displeased with this matter, the cruel man decides to teach the dog a lesson. The terrified pooch is cornered and has no way to escape, as his owner spanks him several times with the shoe the dog chewed earlier while shouting at him. The abuse lasts for about one minute, before the video abruptly ends. The fear in that dog’s eyes can be seen from a mile away. It is unclear who took the video, but that person is just as guilty as the attacker, having failed to intervene.

Unfortunately, the owner will never be punished for his deeds, since this incident took place in China, a country with no animal welfare laws. In China, thousands of animals are abused on a monthly basis, but since there is no legal basis, such cases are dimissed by the authorities and no punishment is ever applied. In Western countries, such incidents would have been immediately investigated; the owner would have been charged with animal abuse, and the dog removed from the premises and re-homed.

In stark contrast, nothing will happen to this owner. Help be a voice for the animals in China, they desperately need our help. All this abuse must stop as soon as possible. Support a legislation that will give the animals of China the rights they truly deserve and make it illegal to abuse them.
