More and more dumb owners are forcing their pets to get a tattoo! Take Action Now!

I am witnessing an extremely worrisome trend, with more and more people starting to take their pet dogs or cats to the tattoo parlour. Please take a look at the photos below - they are just some of the cases involving animal tattoos that I have found online. Sadly, there are many more.

I strongly feel the US authorities need to step up and outlaw this practice. I am a responsible cat owner and I would never take my beautiful Pancakes to get a tattoo. Pets are not ours to abuse! I think that if pets had a voice, they wouldn’t actually agree with this procedure. Unfortunately, they are unable to speak for themselves.

In my view, the main difference between humans on animals on the issue of tattoing is freedom. We, humans, have a choice whether to voluntarily go and get ourselves a tattoo; pets cannot go on their own, they are only forced to do it by their owners.

They are subjected to long hours of painful procedures just to be the talk of the town or so the owner could brag about it. Even if the pets are given pills, the needles still hurt.

Tattooing your pet is a silly, irresponsible act that must be outlawed as soon as possible. Dogs and cats look beautiful enough in their own skin, they do not need to have someone cover it up.
