Manaus, Brazil: I came across this heartbreaking photo on Facebook. This dog is in need of immediate rescue. Please don’t turn your back on him and take action to have this freed as soon as possible.
This helpless animal is kept by his owners on a thick chain 24/7. He receives little food and water, he never gets to socialize or exercise, things any happy pet should enjoy on a daily basis. In a nutshell, this dog never new what happiness was all his entire life.
In spite of numerous complaints coming from neighbors, the owners have refused to do anything, claiming the pooch is used to living in these pitiful conditions. Just look at the photo, it is truly heartbreaking that this is how some people understand to treat their dogs.
Emergency rescue is needed. Take action now and urge police to get involved, rescue the dog and charge the owners will animal neglect. That dog should not stay one more day with those uncaring people!
