China: Stolen pets are tied up and shipped to restaurants to be eaten!

This heartbreaking video is making the rounds all across social media. The footage is nothing less than terrible and heartbreaking and made me cry in tears.

It shows how ruthless the dog meat trade in China has become. The dogs are stolen pets. These innocent creatures were snatched from their beloved owners, tied up, put in cars and shipped to restaurants or abattoirs, to be cooked and processed.

Professional dog snatchers are constantly putting in long hours to meet increasing demand and with no animal welfare laws in place, there is no one stopping them.

The video was taken in Shenyang, in the north-eastern part of China. Fortunately, activists managed to get to the dogs in time and rescued them. All the dogs are now out of harm's away. However, many others are not as lucky.

The suffering of innocent dogs occurs on a daily basis in China. This is the evil face of the dog meat trade.

Please show your support and demand an end to the dog meat industry. We must apply relentless pressure on the Chinese authorities and make sure our demands are taken into consideration and animal rights laws are adopted as soon as possible.
